100% Recommend Top Notch Sportfishing. (Long but funny review)
Thank you Captain Darren and First Mate Cody for making this a FUN filled, memorable family trip!
We booked an 8 hour charter with our 3 kids.
Captain and Cody were very welcoming and informative but not stifling with forced conversations.
We caught 2 fish pretty quickly and then there was a lull for a few hours ………. no nibbles …… 
Captain Darren and Cody tried VERY hard to help catch fish ( trying different lures, etc…) and they were stumped why they weren’t biting.
My husband and I really appreciated their efforts and we were all having fun nonetheless.
Then my husband went into our cooler and offered everyone a banana.
Cody and Darren exchanged glances and shook their heads. They told us bananas are bad luck for fishing.
My husband and I had a real good laugh at this superstition and ate all the bananas and tossed out the peels.
Ten minutes later, my son caught a King Salmon, and then another, and another - 6 fish pretty quickly!
Darren and Cody were great helping the kids reel them in.

Long story short: Captain Darren and Cody were wonderful and tried hard to make this a great experience for our family and they SUCCEEDED!
Fish or no fish, we all had fun!

Just remember: 1) DON’T BRING BANANAS!

Captain Darren and his first mate run a really smooth operation. The boat truly was Top Notch,  with some of the best gear and amenities of the other charters on the pier.
We left the pier an hour early to beat an incoming storm, and darren got us a couple miles offshore and set up for trolling very quickly. Captain Darren and his fist mate were constantly switching bait colors and trying different depths to give us out best chances.
Although we didn’t catch much, 1 nice sized king salmon and a smaller coho, we had a great time just being out on the water and BS’ing with the crew.  I would definitely book again, probably a full day trip next time.

We go fishing up in northern Wisconsin and while it is a fun time we have come to the conclusion that this trip was peaceful, relaxing and fun!  We have determined that this was completely relaxing and is the first time we can say that for a vacation! Captain Darren and First Mate Glenn took such good care of us and they were constantly on the move to make sure it was the best experience!  They answered all the questions we had and also we all had some good conversation! We will definitely be booking again with them!

My friends come from long distance to visit me. They love fishing and they never salmon fish before in their lifetime. I took them out with captain Darren and mate Sammy and both of them are so great for make my friends the most memorable trip in their lifetime. Thanks for make this happen that they are so enjoyable to be able to reel 10 salmon into the Boat and many missed! The boat is huge and comfortable!  We are out for 5 hrs in the late afternoon! Thank you!
