Mark did a good job putting us on fish
Definitely not for inexperienced anglers. Day started off rough with the captain being 30min late (pretty sure I woke him up when I called to make sure we were in the right place). When finally arrived, got met with a half felt apology along with a “these things happen sometimes”. Booked for myself, my 7 year old son and 67 year old father in law. Explained at booking that was first time freshwater fishing for all of us and only 2nd time for my son. Wish he had spent a little more time “teaching” my son and not as much handing him a rod and a good luck. Probably a good match for experienced fishermen, but was not a good match for us. My son ended up getting seasick which might have been a blessing in disguise to end our day a little early. Don’t think the captain minded, he was getting his money.

Josh, did apologize for being late. It doesn’t happen to me, but it did this day, and I did make it up with extra time although it doesn’t help start the day correctly…fully understand the frustration. The evaluation of the charter is for professionals only is not accurate. The problem on your trip, fishing was tough, why fish were biting it was a very light bite. And I did teach that to each of you and your son, even proved it by demstration. It’s very hard to learn in one day, and frustrating for you guys, I understand. But that’s how the bite was that day. Again, sorry all the stars didn’t align on your trip and do appreciate the review and feedback.

We enjoyed being on the lake and the weather was perfect. We went out to the designated fishing spot ,dropped are lines about 47ft. and we caught some fish ,but wanted to catch more ,but they wasn’t biting. plus we where expecting a bigger boat with more anglers. Overall we had a good time. Yes we’d go again . Thanks JC
