Definitely not for inexperienced anglers. Day started off rough with the captain being 30min late (pretty sure I woke him up when I called to make sure we were in the right place). When finally arrived, got met with a half felt apology along with a “these things happen sometimes”. Booked for myself, my 7 year old son and 67 year old father in law. Explained at booking that was first time freshwater fishing for all of us and only 2nd time for my son. Wish he had spent a little... Еще

Josh, did apologize for being late. It doesn’t happen to me, but it did this day, and I did make it up with extra time although it doesn’t help start the day correctly…fully understand the frustration. The evaluation of the charter is for professionals only is not accurate. The problem on your trip, fishing was tough, why fish were biting it was a very light bite. And I did teach that to each of you and your son, even proved it by demstration. It’s very hard to learn... Еще

The evaluation of the charter is for professionals only is not accurate. The problem on your trip, fishing was tough, why fish were biting it was a very light bite.

It’s very hard to learn in one day, and frustrating for you guys, I understand.
But that’s how the bite was that day.
Again, sorry all the stars didn’t align on your trip and do appreciate the review and feedback.

Captain Mark and his first mate Aiden were great! They put my sons and I on the largemouth early and often. I think we boated 25 in the first 3 hours. Mark was knowledgeable, patient and easy to work with and his boat was a dream. Everybody was in on the action and had a wonderful time! Mark’s appreciation for wildlife and the fish we caught was truly remarkable. Will definitely look at returning to experience Lake Erie smallmouth in the fall/summer months. Captain Mark and Aiden were incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel welcome right from the start. As first-time anglers, we had a lot to learn, but they were patient, informative, and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to them, we learned so much and had an unforgettable day on the water. This was a fantastic experience for my whole family, and we’re already looking forward to booking another charter with them the next time we’re in Lake Erie. Highly recommend!

Had a awesome experience got us on fish right away and had a great time. John is very knowledgeable and a great guy to be around. John made the fishing trip fun and my stepson was asking to book another trip as soon as we started home. We caught our limit and like I said had a great time and its an experience that will never be forgotten. Thanks again John the trip was great and you made it fun and very unforgettable

we caught about 30 fish between the 3 of us. The waves sucked, but that is what you get in Erie.
