We met early which was smart so we could get out of the harbor and get our vait quickly before it got too busy.  Ramon the first mate had lines in the water coming out of the harbor and off we went!  We headed out ESE because we needed to hit the right temperature currents and the boat made quick work of it.  My two sons and I fished for most of the day and caught 3 good sized Marlin—my oldest son with an 8’+ and 110lbs.  The other two were 7’+ as well.  Ramon was on top of it and Captain Jose put his 25+ years’ experience to good work getting us big fish.  No tunas unfortunately but it’s hard to complain when you pull in Marlin like we did (and the remoras who were surprised to be joining us on deck.  Catch and release is the way to go and we complied—the pictures turned out great and it was a memory-making, great day for this Father/Sons adventure.

Excellent experience from the time we booked till we were back at the dock. Communication prior to our trip was excellent, we were met at the drop off point the morning of our trip and were shown to the boat. Captain and mate were excellent, great communication and worked hard on our behalf. Coming in March we knew the offshore fishing may not be great but we wanted to give it a try. We caught mahi mahi (dorado), and about 12 or 15 tuna. We fish offshore frequently and I will book with Fin Chaser next time we are in Cabo.

Booked a short outing and asked to do whatever would give us the best chance at catching something (my 4.5 yr old wanted so badly to catch an “ocean fish”). The crew worked with impressive speed, got us fishing, and within 20 mins we had our first wahoo, caught two more within another 20min, and then just a bit later got a 30-40lb. May have gotten more, but one kid got a bit sea sick, so called it early. They were good to the kids, found fish quickly, moved with impressive quickness, and were a great value relative to other charter options. We appreciated the experience, and happily recommend the sunset option with the Fin Finder team.

Boat was nice, comfortable for 5 of us. Captain and crew worked hard to get us all hooked up. Had us on marlin 4 different times but they wouldn’t bite so they worked hard to get us on some other fish and make it a good experience. I would book with them again without hesitation.
