We met the Captain and Rod at the dock and we set off at 6am and hit Lake Erie. Captain put us right where a few other Captains were fishing and we started hitting Walleye. After a while fishing slowed a little and the Captain heard some radio traffic. He made a few calls and he asked if we could stay a little longer. The conditions were windy, rough, and frustrating, but Charles endured, and we will be eating walleye at a handful of family dinners because of it.  He was also exceptional at involving my teenagers in the process.

I highly recommend Captain Charles! He took us right out to the honey hole and the poles hardly got a break. We limited out. He was very patient and helpful to my wife and son and we had an excellent family experience on his boat.  His first mate Brandon was very helpful during the trip also. I can’t wait to come back again soon.

Highly recommend, my dad has some health issues and Captain Slidmore did everything possible to accommodate our needs.  We would book with him again without hesitation.
