tom and his dad are great!  we started off a good ways out and the waves were rolling.  we caught a few and headed in for shallower and calmer water.  we could see fish on the finflder but theyv werent biting.  the team responded changing directions, changing weights, changing lures and all the while engaged my 6 yr old son.  very accommodating and with their persistence,  our luck turned toward the end and we caught our limit of walleye, a couple white bass and a good sized catfish.  when we got back they fileted the catch and we were on our way to the next thing.  which was more fishing from the pier cause my son still had a spot for some perch in our cooler.

top notch crew and vessel and both were tested today!  henry already asked when we can go fishing with them again!

Captain Tom and his First Mate, Tom (his father), were absolutely awesome! We went on a six hour trip.  Within five minutes of dropping our lines, the fish were hitting.  The first one we pulled in was a 27 inch walleye! We had the boat maximum after just 3 1/2 hours. This was my son‘s first time out on Lake Erie, and they took the time to teach him the ins and outs of fishing for walleye. They had him on the back of the boat helping to net fish which he thought was amazing. These guys are not just knowledgeable, but also have great personalities which made for great conversation throughout the trip. When we got back, they quickly cleaned the fish and sent us home with months worth of fish for our freezer.  We are already planning a return trip and will most definitely got through Triple S again!

This was our first Lake Erie fishing charter so wasn’t sure what to expect but we had a great day.  Weather was rough in the morning with 3-4 ft seas but Capt. Tom did his best to get us out on the lake and catching fish.  Due to the weather, we didn’t stay out deep as long as we wanted and had to come inland which really slowed down fishing for a while.  The crew did their best to find us fish and after lunch we eventually went back out deep to start catching fish again.  In the end, we didn’t catch our limit for the day but still came home with enough fish to make the experience worth it.  Weather is always out of the Captains control but this father/son team did their best to try and make the day as best as possible.  Very friendly and boat had all the gear needed for a variety of fishing locations.  Would recommend to anyone looking for a fishing charter.

Captain Tom and First Mate Tom went above and beyond for what turned out to be an epic walleye fishing adventure. We hit our first walleye about 30 minutes into the trip… then nothing but white bass/perch for like 3 hours and in two additional spots. Captain Tom was determined to find us walleye… we finally went back to spot 1 and saw the pockets. They rigged up the boards and we trolled… in about 40 minutes we hit 6 more keepers… hitting 3 in one shot at one point… we hit another 6 in about 1hr with our biggest about 25inches and 9lbs. So 13 walleye in total all between 20 and 25 inches! We got 3 giant bags of fresh fillets! They cleaned them at the ramp to end a great trip on Lake Erie.

Captain Tom and his 1st mate Steve were not only friendly, but they are extremely knowledgeable about where and how to catch walleye.  They love what they do and it shows.  The vessel and gear aboard is extraordinary.  Not only did we all catch our limit, but they cleaned our catch and they had fresh ice to put in our cooler to take the fish home.  It’s a team effort and we want to thank not only Captain Tom and Steve, but Tom’s dad as well. Thank you all! It was a carefree, wonderful experience and a special gift for my brother’s 60th birthday.  We now have an excellent family memory and I am sure we will book another trip soon.  We highly recommend this outfit.
