First and foremost, I need to say Trevor runs an extremely customer focused operation. From the moment Diego picked us up a little early at our hotel, to when we were delivered to the mainland at the end of the day, we were the priority without exception.

It was super rough conditions but that didn’t stop us from trying. Trevor was hyper focused on finding fish and El Capitan was experienced and incredibly skilled at holding station and allowing us to bottom fish in minimum 8’ seas with lots of wind and current. I am a US Coast Guard licensed captain (OUPV) and I can tell you this was a boater’s crew. The snorkeling was beautiful and much better than the tourist trap expedition boat trip our cousins convinced us to join them on a few days later. And I have to mention the delicious pineapple and huge grapes Holly sent for us. Nice touch. Plenty of beer and other drinks provided and perfect caveman grilled steak sandwiches for lunch.

Trevor and crew want you to love your day and experience Colombia. When we returned from fishing, there were cold drinks and atvs waiting to tour the island.

Oh yes, and we saved a sea turtle! Trevor bought the turtle the day prior to our arrival from some locals who planned to eat it and we set it free; hopefully a little wiser. Really cool grassroots conservation effort to be part of.

This is not Disney, it is a real adventure led by real adventurers which is exactly how we like it.

We enjoyed the experience and people so much, we joined them for a wonderful pig roast dinner on the last night of our stay. Good times.

We had an amazing day out on the water! We arrived to the marina and were greeted by Trevor with a boat ready to go, loaded with bait fish, food, and a cooler full of cold drinks! Once we got out on the water it was very obvious the captain and Trevor were very skilled and experienced in the ocean water. We are new into the deep sea fishing world and they helped us use the equipment and learn many helpful hints! They have 2 deep drop rods to that go down all the way to the bottom 1200 plus feet to help catch the BIG FISH. We caught the biggest grouper I’ve ever seen! Before leaving we planned to have the chef on board, we had a BBQ for lunch, it was delicious and really topped off the experience! I can not explain how much fun we had on this trip. We are already planning to return for another fishing charter with Get Tight Fishing!

Absolutely amazing!  Went out for some deep drops, caught 3 grouper and 4 red snapper with in the first 2 hours.  Hooked into a almost 6ft Mako that was as intense as it gets.  The crew and and captain were very knowledgeable and accommodating.  They provided an amazing lunch with some really awesome fresh fruit afterwards.  Drinks were ice cold, fish were biting, couldn’t have asked for a better time!  This will definitely become an annual tradition for my family!  Also have to mention the trip we took afterward to Coletazo an island restaurant tiki bar which was fantastic.  We all enjoyed a very delicious meal and a few drinks before heading back to Manga.  Thank you Captain Trevor for a great experience, definitely the best option for fishing in Cartagena!  See you next year!

We booked this trip while being in town for a bachelor party and it was a great time. Trever and his wife were awesome from start to finish so much so we are booking a river charter for this weekend with his team. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena
