Capt.  hap was a wrath of knowledge from the history of the area to the fishing. He was pleasant, fun and a great host! He even helped me out extra because I brok my wrist last week but still wanted to fish. We will definitely come back to Matagorda just to fish with Capt. Chad!

Booked a half day trip with Captain Chad, didn’t know what to expect. We had a great time! Captain Chad was knowledgeable and fun, and he had a lot of great stories. He’s knows much about the area and wild life. We all caught our limit. When the Captain is a great guide and knowledgeable, and you catch your maximum in competition size, that’s called a great day.

We will definitely hire Captain Chad again!

Chad worked hard to make it a pleasant trip.  One in the party was experiencing a lot of back pain and was reluctant to get on the boat with the wind blowing 20 plus miles per hour but the captain said he would find areas to fish where it wouldn’t be so bumpy.  He did just that and it turned out that our friend caught the most fish. Funny how catching fish eliminate back pain.  We’re planning another trip with Captain Chad.

Despite the bad odds with a major fishing tournament the day we book our trip and the bait shop sold out of live bait, Capt Chappy put us on the fish. He is real knowledgeable and will try different tactics until he finds what the fish like that day. He knows the bays, and even how to make it back to the marina for more bait when we ran out lol. The experience was like fishing with and old friend, we caught plenty of fish. He put us on impressive reds that we should have put in the tournament. Give him a chance an you will book again, my wife and I are planning on it.
