Captain and Crew was exeptional,we knew it was tough out on the water with very few bites,Capt Jim and his crew tried everything to get us on fish even going as far as taking us out longer than we were supposed to,Capt Jim wanted to go check out a spot were they catch alot of Mahi Mahi,we got there dropped down livebait and nothing,time is running out bit that didnt stop them we trolled back on the way and he came down and told me there is good marlin arounds and next moment its on reel running marlin jumping,Cpt Jim did a great job to hunt it down and keep me in the fight.
Its NOT just a JOB or another day out for Capt Jim Its his PASSION!Recomend this trip for anyone willing to roll the Dice with Konadice!

Right from the start Greeted and welcomed us and introduced them selves, captain Jim and crew mate Kevin was very genuine, kind, and had so much aloha spirit, made this experience that much more comfortable. All the boyz caught fish and soaked in knowledge and stories from Captain Jim and Kevin, we enjoyed and had a blast learning and doing the hands on different fishing techniques and pole to use, from catching the live bait all the way to catching the big boy fishes, they gave the boys the bestest fishing boat experience of a life time!. 100/10 recommend!

What an absolutely incredible day! This was a first-time fishing charter for my dad and my two sons, and it could not have been more perfect. Captain Jimbo and his first mate were phenomenal—not only were they incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging with the boys, but they clearly knew exactly where to go to find the fish. Seeing the excitement on my family’s faces as they hooked into some real action was priceless.

The crew’s energy was infectious, and they worked tirelessly to ensure we had a successful trip. We would absolutely recommend this charter to anyone looking for a top-tier experience in Kona.

Pro-tip for future guests: Make sure you have a plan and check in with the captain regarding the plan for cleaning and keeping fish, as well as discussing any catch-and-release preferences you might have. We have never had much luck fishing and didn’t think that far ahead.

Looking for a great time, link up with the Captain and Crew (incuding King) on the KonaDice! Took my two boys (9 & 11) out for some fun and this crew did not disappoint. They communicated well and were prepared when we hit the dock. They took the time to engage and joke with the kids, taught them new lines and rigging, and made sure they were manning the reels to land some great fish. The captain got on the grounds, made the tackle and location changes based on shifting weather and we stayed on some great fising. 4 Ahi, MahiMahi and Skipjack - 6 great fish and tons of excitement. 100% recommend for seasoned anglers and famikies! Great job Cap!

Captain Jim and deckhand sawyer are a very experienced team. They put us on fish right out of the harbor and worked the lines the whole time we were fishing. We caught two Mahi Mahi’s, but it would have been a great experience even if we didn’t catch anything because they were very informative and helpful the whole trip. I would highly recommend this boat to anyone who is looking for a charter. these guys are a top notch hard working crew who will give you the best experience they can offer!
