I appreciate the captain rescheduling our trip with another boat, but we had zero communication from him on the situation. This boat is in need of a lot of repairs. I am not sure I would have fished on it after seeing its condition. Apparently, there was an engine issue a couple of days before, but we were never contacted.
Crew was unprofessional and lazy. They were actually not high noon fishing, their boat was down, but sending me to night runner was very disappointing. The first mate played on his phone on the upper deck the whole time and the captain didn’t interact with the customer, and the customer should be the number one priority. Not catching a fish had nothing to do with it, I love boating, but all my other many experiences the crew and captain interact and made it a great trip fish or no fish.
