The summer heat is finally taking a step back, and the water temps are dropping! This time of year always gets me excited. The fish are transitioning from their summer patterns to their fall patterns, making them more hungry and way more active! Trout and Redfish are showing up in 2-3 feet of water in the grass and sand patches, but are still hanging near channels. As the water drops, they will make their way over the grass and stay there until mid-late fall. This is one of the best times of the year to fish and certainly one of the most exciting!
