The past few weeks have been all over the place with the weather. The water temps have definitely cooled down. Low 50s has been normal. I have been focusing on the back bayous and creeks chasing trout. Live shrimp has been the ticket in the deeper holes. Caught about 2 dozen this past trip with a few sheepshead sprinkled in there as well. Kept a few for the grease and let the rest grow for the next person.

The last week of November was a good week of fishing for the Thompson Brothers. We had two cold, but nice days of fishing. Two nice six hour trips spent around the Bay of St Louis and the Pearl River Basin. Day two was alot of catch and release with a few nice redfish, sheepshead and flounder for the grill. The past two weeks have been busy but i managed to go chase some flounder close. I have been using big live shrimp around structure with some good flowing water. As you can see, the bigger white trout have shown up as well. There is nothing tastier then a fish fry of fresh white trout. A few photos from three quick trips.
