Another evening where crappies kept us just busy enough to have fun but relax. Didn’t fish on my own boat tonight, which is nice! Just sit back and fish. Fish were in 12-15 fow. Stan’s slip bobbers set between 8-10ft got the most action. Minnows were the preferred bait.k

No ice has not been a problem for us so far! Water temps hover around 35 degrees and the winter/holiday break has afforded some time to nymph up some gills and crappies. While the fishing hasn’t been non-stop, its been consistent and there have been no little ones to shake off either!

Even with weather changes water temps staying fairly consistent. Fish are moving around more but once we find the spot on the spot, its a consistent bite. Don’t be afraid of the lulls either if the bite slows. They will circle around and come back, and it’ll be on fire again.
