We have finally got into some better weather patterns after tough winter. Vern and larry from Minnesota went out for a trip with me and had great weather and great fishing. The trout were definitely cooperative as were a few redfish. All day long we fished popping corks with Berkeley gulp shrimp, although we did throw a few soft plastics. Lots of short fish were released and ended up with a nice catch of keepers. There is alot of life showing up, sharks, turtles and the seasonal species tarpon, cobia and triple tail are making there presence known.

Just getting home from Summer in Alaska, arriving back to Carrabelle Florida for some beautiful fall weather. Took Kristine W. out on a half day charter, fishing was a bit slow earlier in the week but picked up for her trip. having live pinfish definitely helped, caught the biggest redfish on cut ladyfish. Several nice trout came on popping corks and jigs rigged with berkeley gulp and live pinfish. fishing will improve with the consistent weather and stronger tides coming up. through the end of the month of October. trout fishing has been a little hit and miss, however some big ones up to 25 inches have been landed. The weather has been perfect for inshore fishing around carrabelle, some nice catches of redfish and trout mostly on soft plastics and jigs. Had a great day with Ben and Coop. Seeing lots of sealife on the grass flats, rays and turtles and LOTs of mullet!
