December is typically the month that large schools of king mackeral migrate thru our area. Action can be as fast as you can get a bait in the water when over a school of kingfish. The technique we use when targetting the Kings is called slow trolling. It is an awesome time that is perfect for anglers of all skill levels. The 3/4 day offshore trips that we offer are what it takes to get offshore and after some kingfish. We catch a wide variety of other species as well including mahi, tuna, sailfish, cobia, sharks, bonitas, and barracudas.
