Caught our first surface fish of the season! Warmer days ahead and the fishing will continue to improve. Nymphing is still the main tactic, but we are starting to hook fish on the swung fly and on the dry! Come fish!

Great day on the water today, thank you guys! Started off with a bang and 11 year Bentley hooked and landed a steelhead on trout gear, awesome work! He woeked hard all day and found a number of trout on the fly as well. Dad caught some fish to!

Spring is here on the Mackenzie! The bugs are out and weve had some great days on the water. We have been nymphing to start, and every day, especially those cloudy ones, brings hope for that afternoon dry fly action. March Browns (my favorite hatch of the year) bring a chamce to find the big fish getting silly.
