Lake Lewisville, May 26th, 2020 Light rain and a North/Northwest couldn't keep Duane and his friends from getting out on the water with us! Despite their Captain having a fender bender and a late start it was a great day of catching and lots of laughs! Some fish were found in deep water on humps in the middle of the lake. More fish were found on a long point in 23 to 27 feet of water. Then even more fish were found schooling(chasing bait fish) over a large shallow flat in 19 to 23 feet. Lew's fishing rods and reels were kept busy reeling in fish after fish using RSR Lures jigging spoons. For right now it seems as though a longer minnow shape is producing a better bite. The bite was light and then became steadily more aggressive as the day progressed. The Lowrance chartplotter did an awesome job of showing fish as they came under the boat. Now is an awesome time to get out and fish with us! Check our calendar and let's go catching!!
