Captain Scott was great. I took my grandson on his first offshore trip. He took care of him and made sure he was involved. Small snapper and grouper. One decent shark. A fun day.

Do not think of it as a lake. It is like being out in the ocean. Do not underestimate the weather and be prepared for being cooler than you would expect for the season. So even in the middle of the summer have ready a coat or sweater. You may not need it, but if you do, it will save your experience

I would highly recommend trips from Wanchese. Our trip on the Miss Nell was a great experience. Capt Lee put us on the fish, Jimbo and Capt Lee's nephew (in training) never stopped working to keep the baits fresh and rods in the water.
Have to say I enjoyed this day fishing with both of my sons and my son in law.
