Recommend Red Eye Charters and fishing on LiL Red to do all they can to put you on the fish

Do some research if you’re an experienced angler - if you’re new - just show up and enjoy yourself! (My youngest is 2 - won’t let me edit that part.)

Red Snapper is a great family trip. There are other options this time of year but you can’t go wrong with snapper

This was our first fishing charter. After looking at some of the prices for boated charters, I was discouraged. Then I found Forever Bent charters at the bottom of the page but this charter was top notch all the way. For 250 bucks, we got triple the time of a boated charter for half the price! As a Dad with 5 other people here for a week, that counts. Definitely look for Collins Terry for your charter

Guided tours that are private are the way to go! Stressed Out Charters is a great team!

For first time anglers in Gulf Shores I would recommend taking a trip with Collins Terry and Forever Bent Charters.

The 3 hour intro was a good fit for us. We booked with Stressed out Charters out of Fort Morgan Marina.

Go with a knowledgeable Captain who knows where the fish are! Finding them (the fish) is half the battle.

This is not a deep sea charter, so know that you are not going to catch a fish like what you see on TV such as a 60lb sword fish.

Book with Ronnie if you want to catch fish. Saw others with no where near what we caught

Use this captain. Phone him to see what is the best species to fish for in a particular month. Let him know if you are interested in inshore, near shore, or offshore fishing and your wave tolerance.

Go fishing!! The captain and crew are very knowledgeable, patient, instructive if needed. It’s a great day out on the water. The boat was comfortable, had a suitable bathroom and enclosed air conditioned sitting room. We even saw dolphin right up close to the boat! Wear a hat, bring your lotion sunscreen, light snacks, plenty of water/drinks, your camera and a pair of binoculars. You’ll have a blast!

This was 6 deep charters with Bill and Nikki was a really good time. They’re really good at what they do they’re professional in every way I would recommend them and I would take them on my next charter also.

If you fishing the morning, expect cooler weather and dress appropriately. The wind can be cold, even if you fish inshore.

Find a good Captain. They are not only great to fish with but can also help you with information on solo adventures from shore. Like what's bitting, what bait to use, etc....

Yes. We booked a 6 hours off shore trip, but due to weather conditions Capt. Jake pivoted to a 4 hour in shore, which was the right call.

Absolutely. Just be sure to ask the guide question about what to wear and what to expect. They know what is going on and will advise you on what to do. Dress warmer than you would expect and have rain gear ready.

Check the weather ahead of time. If it windy you are absolutely going to get wet.
