Bluefish, stripers and flounder

The last few trips have resulted in nice catches of flounder, some nice bluefish up to 30” and the occasional striper!

Stripers are cruising around in decent numbers and the flounder are here. Weeding through a lot of shorts to find keepers but great line pulling action!

This young man had a memorable fight on very light tackle when this nice striper hit his crab today. Also Caught some bonus tog and short flounder.

Weakfish!

Weakfish populations have been scarce the past few years. We are slowly seeing a resurgence around OCMD and have caught quite a few this year! Additionally, we are staying on the flounder catching a bunch of throwbacks with some keepers mixed in.

Rain wont stop us!

Had a little rain this evening for our trip but we powered through, releasing over 10 short flounders and boxing multiple bluefish over 20 inches!

Saturday is for Flounder!

Today we had two trips in which we were able to harvest flounder. We released over 40 short flounder and boxed a few for dinner. What a blast!
