What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Panama City Beach, Florida for the first time?

Bring drinks, food, and sunscreen and let your guide handle the rest. PCB is a great place to fish

Limit of one Red per person is a little low compared to Texas. But overall great time.

Make sure to bring water and wear a long sleeve to protect yourself from the sun.

Pick the best season for fishing that allows variety of species that can be harvested

Pay attention to water temperature and be sure it's at the right temperature for the fish to be in

Make sure you go fishing earlier in the year. Double check with Captain about equipment.

Sunscreen! It’s hot and sunny. Be prepared to catch some fish with these guys!

Sunscreen, long sleeved shirts, hats.....if you get motion sickness, buy something like dramamine

Take extra clothes in case it rains. And no skid water shoes. Glad I took mine.

Be sure to book a trip for the specific fish you are targeting. I was under the impression we would catch some Snapper and move on, but that didn’t happen.
