What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Richmond, California for the first time?

Plan for all possible weather conditions. Wear layers as the wind picks up in the afternoon. Sunglasses and a neck gator are a must. Wear waterproof or rubber shoes. Your feet will get wet at some point.

A nice captain and a well run boat BUT the captain is a chain smoker and in the confines of the forward cabin we found that a MAJOR problem.

Make sure you have warm clothes on. Take something for motion sickness because the water is VERY choppy.

You will definitely catch alot of fish! Your first fishing trip will be memorable and exviting!! Bring sunscreen,warm clothing.and snacks.
