We did the 6 hour afternoon trip with Vinnie and 1st mate Fischer and had a fantastic time.  Everything was ready when we arrived.  We made it out to the starting place, which took around 35-45 minutes.  We started with Kites and some live bait that was given free to Vinnie, so we didn’t get charged for it, which was nice.  We started hooking into fish starting with Bonita and then we caught an absolute hog of a barracuda, which they estimated around 35 pounds and a rarity for the large size.  After that, I hooked into a hammerhead and was given the option to chase it, so we did for a solid 30 minutes until the hook popped out.  But what an experience on light tackle.  We did some more kite fishing and then trolled after the live bait ran out.  We started hooking into fish quickly and after an absolutely chaotic set, came away with a Sailfish, Blackfin, King Mackerel and two jacks for good measure.  Vinnie got us on fish and Fisher was a moving tornado, keeping all the gear in line and in the water fishing. We made our way back and got into port right at 6 hours.  We had our fish cleaned and got some great pictures and memories along the way. I picked this boat, based on the reviews of others on Fishing Booker, but also because of the results of the captain.  Not all days are going to be productive on the water, but I felt like we crushed it.

10/10 recommend this crew for your next trip! We took out our three small kids (3, 6, 8) for a 4-hr afternoon trip and they had a blast. This was our first time not doing in shore and I was super skeptical about getting sea sick. Vinnie kept an eye on the forecast and assured us the winds were in our favor and the seas would be calm. Glad we took his advice! Captain Vinnie and his first mate Jeff kept them all on fish and made sure mom and dad caught some too. We caught 10 tuna and 2 Bonita fish, never a dual moment. The boat had a cabin with AC to get them out of the heat, a fridge and cooler, and a bathroom — all wins with kids. We always appreciate a talkative crew AND people who like kids. Great day all around. Looking forward to coming back to Ft. Lauderdale and fishing again!

I was running numbers and comparing trying to find something for a few people who have never been fishing. If this is you, look no further! Captain Vinnie was very professional and fun. We were happy to just be out sitting behind a few wet lines, but we spent most of our time reeling in some big ones! 3 hours was the perfect amount of time for our schedule, but next time we’re in town we’re going for a 6 hour run. His deck hand was a ton of fun and captain kept him busy! 10/10 suggest!

Did a 6-hour morning trip with Vinnie during Spring Break with my 20 yo son and a buddy of his. Very good boat and Vinnie was great at finding fish. We caught a huge Barracuda, a bunch of Mahi, a large blackfin Tuna that last five of us for two days of meals, and a bunch of Red Snapper, Triggerfish, and some others. The boat is in very good shape. Rods and tackle were great. Two fishing chairs. Plenty of room in the back and in the cabin. Full size refrigerator for our lunches. Free parking! So the only disappointment of the trip was that the mate failed to gaffe a huge bull Mahi at the side of the boat, so we missed that photo opportunity, but it still put up a good 20 minute fight. Highly recommend.

Captain Vinnie and mate Jeff were both very helpful and patient helping us become better fishermen.  I’ve been on several charter boats over the years, and this ranks up in the top two!  Clean, roomy, and well equipped boat. Captain Vinnie really knows the waters around Ft. Lauderdale like the back of his hand.  They worked very hard to get fish in our cooler.  Thanks for a great time!
