We had an awesome trip.  It was our first time on Gatun Lake and one of the best fishing experiences we’ve had anywhere.  We will definitely be returning to Panama because of this trip and won’t consider using anyone other than Gatun Sportfishing.  Gerardo was so much fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and provided an all-around wonderful experience.

Capt put me on fish all day. We had a great time fishing together and telling stories. He really knows the game and how to find and catch fish in Lake Gatun. Wish I had time to fish at least a full day or multiple days while I was in Panama. Well worth the money for the fishing and the experience of catching exotic species from the Panama canal.

Put me on to a lot of peacock bass, in addition to tiger fish, snook and Oscar. Really tried hard to get me onto tarpon, but did not hook one. Enjoyed the trip. Rog

Gerardo was a gentleman and an experienced fishing guide. He really put us on the fish. He was constantly changing and adapting to the conditions to solidify our success. We were extremely satisfied and the trip was more than worth it!
