From the time you arrive you will be impressed on many levels.  Boat and equipment are top notch and the captain’s knowledge of Lake Gatun is unparalleled.  He is flexible in terms of the type of fishing you would like to do as well as target species.  We chose to target peacock bass and were not disappointed.  Very personable as well - we laughed all day long and caught fish - can’t ask for anything better than that!

Really enjoyed our morning fishing trip with Geraldo.  We all caught fish and had simply a great time.  Gerado was extremely helpful and knowledgeable which made the trip enjoyable.  His boat was top notch and the drinks along with the food was even better. Highly recommend Gatun Sportfishing during your next visit.

My wife and I had a lot of fun. We didn’t expect to go to the monkey island and fishing but the monkey island was my wife’s favorite part but I liked the fishing. So we were both very happy with the trip and the captain. We caught a lot of fish and our hotel restaurant cooked it up and it tasted great.

This was totally amazing trip, our guide the captain was ama,in he is genuine and cares about his guest he goes above and beyond to make sure he’s creating memorable moments.  We saw monkey Island cruised around in search of snook and caught alot of peacock bass.  We will return. 

Mr. Geraldo Duran, best guide ever. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Knows the best fishing places in the lake. We got many fish, including bass, snook, and corvina. Make reservations with Gatun Fishing and you will not be disappointed.
