Do yourself a favor and book with a different charter company.
To start on a positive note, the two crew members on board were excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable about the local waters, and worked well together. Their professionalism was the only bright spot in an otherwise disastrous day.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. The captain showed up late without notifying anyone — not even his own crew. When he finally arrived, he openly admitted that he had overslept due to being hungover. That set the tone for the day. Rather than leading the trip, he spent most of his time either napping in the shaded part of the boat or sharing inappropriate personal stories, including lengthy complaints about his love life — so much so that my 12-year-old son eventually asked him to stop.

Shockingly, the first stop (while we were already on the clock) was to refuel the boat. This trip was booked well in advance, and I expected basic preparations like fueling to be handled before our scheduled departure.
We booked a 3/4-day fishing trip to ensure we had plenty of time for a meaningful experience, and I clearly communicated that I was bringing two young boys who were eager to fish and make memories.

Unfortunately, the captain came completely unprepared. He brought only one type of gear and stuck to trolling with lures the entire time, despite our repeated requests to try other methods so my boys could at least hold the reals and try fishing instead of taking a long boat ride.  He had no setups for bottom fishing and brought not bait, live or frozen. 

To make matters worse, the boat itself was having mechanical issues. One of the twin engines malfunctioned throughout the day, and while the crew did their best to manage it, it was clear the vessel wasn’t in top condition.

As a final blow, the captain suggested we just head to the beach to swim for the remainder of our time — something I absolutely did not pay for. This was supposed to be a fishing trip, not a sightseeing cruise or beach outing.

In short, this was the most unprofessional charter experience I’ve ever had. Between the captain’s behavior, lack of preparation, equipment issues, and failure to deliver anything close to the advertised experience, I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone. Save your time and money — there are far better operators out there.
