We had a great trip with Captain Mauricio from beginning to end. His driver picked us up at the hotel, took us to the port and brought us back to the hotel when we were finished. The Captain took care of everything. Snacks, sandwiches and all drinks were provided. He put us on fish all day. We landed four or five Golden Dorados and many different types of catfish. Fishing with Mauricio Onates for 4 hr trip is a great experience for Buenos Aires , Argentina area. We were picked up and returned from where we were staying. The boat was great for my wife and myself. Live bait and tackle were provided for us, so no need to bring anything except sunscreen and head cover. We were skeptical of going on the trip after hearing about bad weather, but Mauricio assured us that it was nothing and I’m so glad that we listened. He was right. At most we caught a little light drizzle for a few minutes. But we also caught fish after fish. Dorados, catfish, even a piranha (which we had never seen before).
