Gilbert was the perfect captain - knowledgeable, kind and patient.  We fished Joe Pool Lake, and it was obvious he knew the lake extremely well.  We caught quite a few bass and had a great time.  He also let us use his trailer to practice towing, where it became clear that the man was simply made to teach.  Whether you are new to fishing or just want to go fishing without any hassle, you can’t go wrong with GTB Outdoors.  We will definitely hire him again.

I’ve done several salt water fishing charters and been wanting to get into fresh water. Gilbert gave my son and I a great experience. We both were able to catch our first bass. The boat was in immaculate condition. Most important Captain Gilbert was very friendly and knowledgeable.  Would definitely recommend for all ages. Especially if you are wanting to take the little one.

Captain Miller put us on fish within 20 minutes of hitting the water. He had plenty of tackle to switch between depending on what the fish were biting on. He took the time to explain how to use each lure and the correct action/retrieval for them. I would recommend you doing yourself a favor and go fish with Captain Miller.

Gilbert hooked my son and I up with a great fishing trip. He had the boat in the water, all the poles rigged and ready to go before we even pulled up and stepped out of the truck. All we had to do was step aboard and go fishing. It was the first time my boy fished from a boat so Gilbert too extra care to make sure he had a blast. And he did.
