We got off to a late start—totally our fault since we fished the night before and stayed out a bit too late. Capt. Jody Starr is an amazing captain. We caught over a dozen fish with most of them being keepers. His boat and fishing gear was in great condition and he made us feel comfortable the whole trip. But even more than being an amazing captain, he was an amazing friend and guide to my young daughters (age 7 and 12). He treated them like his own and made the trip memorable for them.
