In September 2025 we booked four full days fishing in January 2026 with Horizon. When we arrived from Europe to Mauritius Horizon contacted us informing that the first day of fishing would be canceled due to mechanical issues. We replied that we had some extra days of staying at Mauritius and that we could reschedule that day. Horizon replied they were ok with the reschedule. Day two the boat was repaired and we went out fishing. We cought a few small fish. The boat did not make any good impression. Even minor and inexpensive maintenance had not been done. Pillows were soaked with water and debris had not been removed. The second day of fishing we cought a dorado. The trips were made fairly close to the port and the main strategy seemed to follow birds. After the second day of fishing Horizon told us the boat again suffered from mechanical issues and another day of fishing had to be canceled. After a day or two we received the short message via Fishing booker telling remaining two days of fishing had been canceled due to mechanical problem. As we had rescheduled so many times it was a bit unclear what was actually canceled. I sent a message to Horizon asking them to confirm and clarify but I did not receive any reply. It was messy and other planned activities suffered but we managed to book the two days Horizon canceled with other fishing operators. This turned out to be an interesting experience. Now we could compare under same conditions and same geographical area. We could recognize those operators worked for us in finding advantageous areas even further out on the sea and altering fishing methods. For those efforts were more than happy to pay tips.

Hello Fredrik,i think your review is inappropriate and very rude.We had mechanical issues with the shaft on one engine and thats why we had to reschedule the trips and cancell the 2 last ones.With 30 years fishing experience,we know how to find the fish and Horizon did very big marlins the past year. I am really not happy about your review and i hope Fishingbooker will check it,we don’t deserve this and i don’t understand your feedback. Best regards Nicholas

Had the best days fishing experience ever after fishing in every country I’ve ever visited. Bruno had us on the fish straight away and kept them coming all day in extremely rough conditions. The small tuna was prepared back at our hotel and fed all 8 of us. Just perfect, all still smiling today. If you are looking for an amazing days fishing then book up with Nicholas. 🎣👌😁
Very professional team. Nicholas picked me up at hotel. He looked for the best wheater We had two full day trips . Captain and team are very friendly. They have done all what is possible, so that I could have a nice trip and good catches. I enjoyed the trips. If I would have a next stay here- I would book Nicholas and his team again.
