First time ocean fishing for myself,stepson and 12 year old grandson. Mike went above and beyond to make sure my grandson caught fish, and more importantly had fun. He went as far as sending a letter and a lure to present to him as a christmas gift from us. Everyone caught fish and had a lot of fun. Couldn’t ask for a more professional and personable captain. Would recommend fins up to anyone. I know we will be back.

Super great experience!! Captain Mike was very professional and patient with us as it was our first time fishing in the ocean and we had an 11yo old with us learning as well. Captain Mike had done some research in advance to find where the fish were biting to ensure we had a catch. We caught several Sea Bass and he even filet and bagged our catch to take home! I booked this private excursion for my nephew’s 12th birthday. Captain Mike provided a fantastic experience! He was very friendly and patient, and gave my nephew lots of tips on how to use the fishing gear. Mike brought us to several different spots to maximize fishing opportunities,  and kept us out for longer than the allotted time. All in all, a terrific day on the water!

We had a fabulous time fishing with Captain Mike and we are already planning our next trip.  It was nice going out with someone who knows the area so well.  We also had some great conversation!!  You won’t be disappointed.

We were 77 and 53 years old and fished all our lives. Captain Mike knows how to catch fish. We would have been happy to take kids with him as well. Very friendly. I will rebook with him several times next year! He is not afraid to burn gas to find fish. Keep in mind his boat is 23 feet long and not flashy, if that’s what you want, just a fishing machine.
