On what appeared to be a beautiful day on shore, the wind picked up and generated whitecaps offshore. We didn’t want to cancel our trip for a third time so we decided to go out in fairly rough conditions. The captain made the best of it and we did catch a few fish, though not large. The boat and equipment all appeared to top notch and well maintained. We would have liked calmer weather and more fish, but that is beyond the captain’s control. Customer was made aware of the extremely rough conditions prior to departure and given the chance to cancel or reschedule but decided to go even with advance warning prior to the trip. During the trip one of the customers became very seasick and requested to end the trips hours early. Given the conditions and the limited time they were still able to take home some fish. If you want the best experience possible, please consider the captain’s recommendations and concerns.
