The charter was for our 5 year old grandson who loves to fish. We were picked up at the dock on time and the boat was excellent for its purpose. The captain was extremely knowledgeable and the first mate was so nice to our grandson. The end result was that my grandson caught 2 Coho salmons. Would recommend Captain Mike and his crew. Thank you for a great time and a wonderful memory.

Customer was told by the Cruise Ship that his son was to young to take out on a fishing charter, we have no age restrictions at Big Jim’s Charters. Only restrictions on age are that a Life Jacket is required to be worn at all times while onboard a charters boat for ages 13 and younger.

Didn’t catch any fish, but it is a little before the season. However, we saw a Humpback Whale and several Orcas. We got pretty close and got some great videos. Also got to see some eagles feeding, which was fun. Captain Terry and Dillon were great. Very personable and interesting to talk to. We had a great time.

thank you for the great review, its early fir fishing but not for great views of the Glaciers, Killer Whakes and Humpbsck Whale top it off with a Eagle show great job Captain Terry and Deckhsnd Dillon

✅️ 2nd day of King season!! Captain John and Dylan were really great!! Dylan worked non-stop!! Captain John was fun, informative and as excited as we were when my husband caught his nice King Salmon. We will definitely book with Big Jim’s the next time we’re in this area!!!

We went fishing with Jon and his deck hand Liam. Both were very helpful (and patient) haha we had 3 kids fishing with us, our twin 6 year olds, and our 9yr old…. Each kid caught halibut and rock fish and that made our trip! We were catch and release due to shipping issues with being Canadian, but an unbelievable experience!
