I recently went on a fishing charter in San Diego with Captain Pablo, and it was an incredible experience. Our group of six targeted rockfish, and we had a fantastic day on the water, catching a ton of Scorpion Fish, Red Fish, and a variety of others.
Captain Pablo was not only knowledgeable but also a great teacher. He took the time to help each of us improve our fishing techniques, making the trip both educational and fun. The boat was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for a successful day of fishing. Overall, it was a memorable trip, and I recommend Captain Pablo for anyone looking to have a great fishing adventure in San Diego.

Captain Noah and Pablo are very friendly and passionate about their job and has everything you can try out on board. We went for a tuna/yellowtail trip but the fish were just not biting at all on that day. We went and got quite a few rock fish and good sized Sculpin and a huge white fish. Captain has ikejime tools onboard for use if you want to ikejime your fish. Overall very fun day and would definitely come back when the tunas are fully on!
Thank you, Alex! This was a Coronado Islands trip which has had plenty of yellow tail lately. The problem yesterday was we had zero current and the water was too cold at 62 degrees. Two days ago we went 70 miles south to catch our Bluefin. The best shot at BFT is definitely a full day offshore trip. The Coronado Island trip is definitely my favorite because of the variety. Your crew was great! We appreciated your passion for Ike Jime and the proper way to care for fish from catch to table! Can’t wait for you to come back in August!! Captain Pablo

Pablo Fernandez contacted me as soon as I had booked and ensured to answer all my questions and arrangements were made. Went out with Cpt Ian / deckhand Kadin and they were both amazing. Did all the work and made sure that everytime we dropped the line a fish (sometimes two on one) came up with it. My wife, dad and I took some dramamine but it didn’t work so well for me and my wife my however, Cpt Ian took care of us and we still ended up having a great time out there. Will definitely book with this charter the next time we come back out to San Diego.

Amazing trip with capt Pablo. The experience was amazing. I was able to bring my kids and have a great time. Pablo was amazing in helping my boys cast and catch fish almost as big as them. I was able to enjoy my fishing with out having to bait hooks every few minutes lol. So much better than a sport boat, more individualized, fun and memorable…not to mention cheaper when your taking the family. We caught a great variety and even saw a few things my boys will remember for life. I will definitely be booking again soon and will make this an annual thing for my family.
