We had a great 4 hour trip. Captain Mike was informative, patient , personable and great with the kids. He knew all the spots the fish were biting. Caught a large flounder that he filleted for us and got four large servings from. Will def be back and def recommend !

Our trip had some very unfortunate weather, and as a result we had to keep to the bay and river rather than striper fishing in the ocean as planned (which he warned us about far ahead of time), but Captain Mike still did everything he could to make sure we had a great time. He did a great job of finding us some schools of bluefish to catch when it seemed improbable that we’d get anything on our lines, and he was extremely friendly the whole time. Can’t recommend booking enough!

It was a great time having you guys out. Sometimes you get lucky… Had we not decided to head back to the river to try for some fluke when we did, we never would have spotted those birds which led to everyone getting in on the action! Hopefully next time the ocean won’t be foggy and rough and we can get in on some more action!!

The goal was to catch fish for my 7-year-old - with the caveat that it was his first saltwater trip. Capt. Mike was very comforting and flexible regarding the trip accommodations. We caught a ton of fish and had a blast. Mike is very knowledgeable and helped answer no less than a billion questions from my inquisitive 7-year-old. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Booked Finn’s up family charter for Father’s Day! Our boys have never been fishing on a boat. We had 2 teens and a 9 yr old and they loved it!! Captain Mike was very helpful and patient with the kids teaching them to fish! They each caught several fish and even some keepers! Overall, they had a great time and great experience for them. We highly recommend!

This was our 2nd time booking with Captain Mike and we are already thinking about when we can do it again. He’s an awesome captain, very knowledgeable, and knows how to have fun! He was wonderful with our 2 children ages 7 and 4. If you are debating on taking this trip, I strongly encourage you to go for it. You won’t regret it!

Thanks Heather! You guys were great… I especially liked the “log book” so the kids could mark down the different fish they caught. You might have a future charter captain on your hands! They both seemed to get a kick out of feeling that rod bend! I’m sure they’ll continue to try and get more names in that book in the future. Looking forward to having you out again!

This was a birthday gift for my dad and we had a great time! Mike was absolutely amazing and was so attentive to my parents and I! He found us some great spots to consistently catch fish. If i ever go fishing again, I’ll definitely be rebooking with Mike!
