David. As stated in your messages, we tried to contact you multiple times on your phone with no answer or returned messages. We asked you in your inbox if your number was correct on the system and you never answered that either. We apologize for the fish not biting. We can’t control that. But what we can control is our communication with you and we definitely tried. Once we got a hold of you that morning you said the pontoon was fine as long as you were able to fish. The pontoon is a temporary fix and our new boat will be back in the water next week. We invite you to come back out with us and try again. Hopefully the fish will be more cooperative. Hello Matt. We apologize for the disappointment in your trip. Unfortunately our original Saltwater Assassin sunk on July 5th due to a storm and it was publicized and announced on our social media platform. That was 2 weeks ago and while it was unfortunate we chose to keep your trip booked rather than disappoint you and mess up your plans all together. You could have chose to back out and cancel your trip before you left the dock if you knew you were going to be disappointed. Regardless we are in the process of replacing Saltwater Assassin and the pontoon is a temporary fix.. which is working at the moment since we have had awesome feedback on the boat. I wish you would have either backed out of the trip or communicated with us before you went and left a bad review. We cant fix a problem and make it a better experience for you if you fail to communicate to us.

David. Thank you for your review. We acknowledge that you were disappointed in your captain this morning and your review was forwarded to the owner of the business. To add to this review and clarify some things up for our future potential bookers, the owner made a courteous attempt (as any business owners would do) to call you to get a better understanding of why this review was left so poorly. During your conversation you mentioned that the captain wasn’t pleasant when you guys got there. The owner did explain to you that he was there at the time with the captain, which was actually 15 minutes before your trip was to start, trying to fix a piece of equipment on the boat and did witness the captain directing your party to stand to the side for safety purposes while on the dock. At no time was the captain rude or unpleasant. After talking with the captain he was very surprised by your review since he did offer to help assist during your trip multiple times, and especially after getting a $130 tip from you. Good tips like that tells the captain that he did a great job, so naturally you could see why he was blindsided by this!

During the phone conversation you had with the owner, you were very confrontational and hostile, and would not let the owner try to make things right with you. He was trying to get to the bottom of the problem and you would not allow him that chance, resulting in giving us the impression that maybe the captain wasn’t the problem after all.

Our business is not built upon making bad reputations and giving poor service to our clients, and so we do not appreciate false allegations towards our captains. We consider ourselves highly professional and a courteous business, and we will continue to operate that way. Thank you.

Thank you for your review. We are happy you were pleased with Captain Sully. The captain only spent 30 minutes catching bait, and we were told that your time for that was compensated. The location that you fished at took time to get there, which travel time is part of your scheduled time. We appreciate your business.
