Capt Jason is from the area, very familiar with the water, friendly, down to earth and very easy to spend time with on the water. I am somewhat experienced, myself but learned several new things about catching live bait in the area and more of the local knowledge. The grouper weren’t grabbing the bait as fast as the “elusive” red snapper but it’s always fun to wrestle a hoss. He was excellent with his teaching and coaching and has a very dry and stable setup with how very capable vessel and isinglass curtains for our afternoon shower that formed up that day. I really enjoyed being with him and look forward to the next time!
