Capt. Alex and AGM Fishing Charters had us on the fish each spot we fished. He was excellent at teaching my son and I the techniques to catch salt water fish. We’ve had quite a bit experience fishing fresh water, but this was our first trip on the ocean. I would highly recommend this charter for anyone who wants to learn or improve their techniques in salt water fishing. Captain Alex has a top notch boat and equipment and does a great job making sure you take fish home! My son and I look forward to our next trip back to Marathon and fishing with Capt. Alex and AGM Fishing Charters!

My wife and 4 year old son and I went on the 3 hour sunset trip with captain Alex and it was fantastic! On our trip went out fishing in a couple different spots, and we were catching fish the entire time.The captain helped my son reel in as many fish as he to catch and even let him drive the boat! On the way back in the captain stopped the boat to take a sunset picture of our family by the 7 mile bridge. This trip was the highlight of our vacation in the keys. If you get the chance to go fishing with captain Alex, do it!!

We had a wonderful morning out on the water with Captain Alex. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and I believe he is first and foremost, a teacher. I learned a lot about fishing in and around Marathon, and my kids were able to pick up the fishing techniques that he was teaching them. In three hours we were able to catch many fish including enough keepers to last us a few meals! The three hour tour was perfect for my three kids, but my wife and I wish it was a little longer. Oh well, there’s always next time, and next time we will book with Captain Alex!

Captain Alex was a great guide to fish with. I had my 2 younger sons with me, he was patient and took the time to show them the techniques that would get them fish. It took them a minute to get the hang of it, but he was right there helping them out until they got it, with a smile on his face. And we had great time conversing with him as well. If you’re looking for a great time fishing on the water, Captain Alex comes highly recommended from us. We look forward to fishing with him the next time we’re down. 👍👍
