Captain Scott Sutherland is simply the best. So knowledgeable and managed to incorporate a great day of fishing with wonderful education about our surroundings. We had our 14 year old son with us and he learned a ton about the Pacific Northwest ecosystem and got to observe some testing for the department of fisheries and oceans. Way better than any grade 9 science class! Not to mention we caught some pretty spectacular Chinook salmon. Wow! A++ experience. We will go again! Thank you, Captain Scott! 🙏💚

Note to any future fisherman, NEVER BRING BANANAS ON THE BOAT!!!!! This is extremely bad luck in the maritimer world! Despite my mistake of bringing a few bananas on the boat for a snack ( which quickly made their way overboard uneaten ), we still managed to get a few fish in the boat! We had a great time on the boat with Scott. He was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The down riggers used for controlled depth fishing, had a great time fooling all of us 1000 times over that we had a fish on. This on its own was worth the trip watching all of us get excited as it cycled every minute ( rolling my eyes). Highly recommend this trip. Thanks Scott for a fun day out on the boat!

The boat is a state-of-art fishing boat with cozy and comfortable seats. Plenty storage and space for a group of 6 adults. The fishing rods are easy to use as well. Captain Scott is very nice, humorous, and knowledgeable when comes to fishing.

Unfortunately, we only caught and released three fishes in the first hour. And after than, we’ve never seen another fish for four hours. Captain Scott speculates that it might due to the presence of killer whale in the area, and scared the fish off. So after the trip, we left empty handed and naturally felt a bit disappointed. While I understand there is no guarantee for fishes, it definitely feels a bit sad to go home without one. I wish there are some types of compensation like a discount, or coupon for the next visit or something

Me and my boys loved it.  Captain Scott was positive, knowledgeable and was a great teacher.  I would recommend him to anybody.  Thank u Captain Scott!
