We weren’t able to fish off the gulf shoreline at our residence along GOMD as there was a very brisk wind and a rip tide notice. Captain Steve had an alternative private dock on the bay side off Broadway lined up. He and his assistant Tanner were just the nicest people you could imagine. We had twin 11 year old girls and a 10 year old boy and they both made this a great experience for them. We caught lots of sheepshead and a few other smaller fish we later used as bait. Overall it... Hi Walter, I just wanted to thank you for your 5 star review. That’s a very tall order when Mother Nature is not on your side. We still made it happen with the kids catching the majority of the fish. Fishing from a pier with Captain Steve

My wife, our two young adult kids and I fished with captain Steve from a pier in the Longboat Key/Anna Maria Island area. We had an awesome experience. We all caught fish with the guidance and support of Captain Steve. He is very experienced, patient and personable. He is also a good teacher. We highly recommend his fishing outings. We will be going out with him again in the near future.

We had a great time with Captain Steve! He communicated often about our trip and what we wanted, worked to find us the best fishing location, and made our fishing experience very fun! He was great with our little kids and we caught lots of fish! Highly recommend.

Captain Steve was a wonderful guide. The weather was a bit rough during our trip but he made the best of it. His patience was incredible with our kids and his enthusiasm was infectious. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Friend and I took our 15 year old boys shore fishing with Steven. We had fun from the start catching our bait on the northern point of LBK. Pin Fish, Lizard Fish and Whiting. Then we traveled about 25 minutes to a spot on Anna Marie Island. The moment we got there , we could see Snook. We managed to land at least a 12 pounder. Lost a couple nice one. One that we lost was much bigger than the 12 pounder. We caught several Whiting too. The boys and fun and Dad’s too.
