First off the scenery around the lake is truly breathtaking! My son and I had a great time fishing with the crew, they were awesome at locating the right spots and my son had the hot hand of the day. He caught 3 rainbow bass, 1 jaguar bass, a mechaca and several mojarra.  I caught several mojarra, was definitely outshined by the youngster!  I would highly recommend this charter, great communication before the trip to ensure meeting time, location and requests for snack and beverages. Very helpful and friendly crew made it awesome!

Booked a five hour half day trip. Spent time fishing with live bait, jigging, and trolling. Caught a bunch of rainbow bass and other fish.

Marc and crew were great with my kids and made sure they enjoyed the trip. Showed them how to use the equipment and also brought a ton of snacks and drinks.

Marina is easy to find and a quick drive from Fortuna.

On a 3hr trip we caught 7-8 bass, this as a slow day according to captain Marc but we enjoyed every minute, the views are amazing (recommend binoculars) just to see extra wildlife caught Famale and Male Rainbow bass, as well as some jaguar bass, absolutely beautiful fish! Can’t say enough for captain Marc, I can’t wait to come again for a longer trip.

Me and my dad caught a handful of jaguars and machaca each on our trip! I managed to catch a couple female rainbows as well. The views of the volcano and mountains while fishing were spectacular. The crew was knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend captain Marc for your fishing needs on lake Arenal!

We booked a full day. The forecast was discouraging: high winds and rain. I give Captain Marc high marks for adapting to the conditions and finding fish. We were limited to trolling because of the chop and rain, but caught thirteen fish, including rainbow bass and machaca. We would have been miserable but for the professional grade rain gear he provided. We were underequipped and would have been uncomfortably cold.
