My family of 5, including 3 middle to late teens, put our phones down for a full 8 hrs! We did nothing but pull Mahi Mahi (8) and Barracuda (2) out of the ocean for 6.5 hrs. Our final 2 hrs were spent snorkeling at Paradise Cove. It was the bluest water we have ever seen. Victor filleted 3 of our fish that we had cooked at a neighboring restaurant for dinner. It was the best day of our trip!! Highly recommend it.

No matter what your pretty much bottom fishing November thru April so it should be a reduced rate and not sold as Mahi Mahi trip or anything else besides bottom fishing

Hola Brad, We only wish everyday is a Mahi Mahi day. Sometimes conditions (waves, winds) don’t allow us to go out too far (gets very uncomfortable) or the fish are just not bitting that much, so Bottom/Reef fishing or in-shore trolling are good ways to make the most out of the day. Hola Brad,

We only wish everyday is a Mahi Mahi day.
Sometimes conditions (waves, winds) don’t allow us to go out too far (gets very uncomfortable) or the fish are just not bitting that much, so Bottom/Reef fishing or in-shore trolling are good ways to make the most out of the day.

Of course, always discussing it with the clients on board.

We have had clients that prefer to go out and ride the waves and wind and sometimes not catching anything.

We believe that you made the right call and that landing some snapper for dinner was a lot better than going out off-shore on those conditions.

And Yes, November to the beginning of March is our Cold Front season and not only many times is better to stay closer but others have to be cancelled due to a closed port.

We were on the Why Not? With Captain Freddy and first mate Miguel for 8 hour trip. Trolling the first half was slow and no bites but that’s fishing. They tried changing lures many times but no luck so we made the call to switch to bottom fishing and started to fill the cooler with fish. We had a great time and still caught plenty of fish. The crew was great and would recommend them. Thanks again guys

Perfecto! Will use this guide service again as they were earnest at all times working to put us on the fish. We had plenty of drinks, & places to rest while the crew kept a watchful eye out for the Mahi. They pointed out dolphins to us which are always a pleasure to watch. GREAT TRIP!
