I should have known to trust Fishing Booker - I have never had a bad experience when I do.  Fishing with Juan was no exception.  He and Mate Darin were awesome, first class, and HONEST*.  We were fishing immediately, had fish in the boat within 5 minutes of wetting a line.  They were always conscious of if we wanted a snack or beverage.  They never stayed in one spot too long.  Fished several different ways.  Juan and Darin really went the extra mile!!!!  They also from the very beginning communicated with us.  As far as time, location, amount of money to bring.  Even assisted in helping us find transportation to Marina.  I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience with Captain Juan and Mate Darin and Fishing Booker.

* If you don’t book with someone reputable you could get scammed and robbed- trust me from experience .

The next time I go to Costa Rica I’ll definitely be booking Juan again.

For the record I work in this industry and charter at least 20+ trips annually.

Juan and Alfredo were exceptional guides and put us on the fish rapidly.  Patient teachers and willing to do what it takes to have an amazing day.  They cleaned all the fish, bagged it and made it ready for us to take. We of course made sure they had plenty as well.  For inshore fishing, although we ran 30 miles or so, just an incredible day.

The bite was slow but Juan José and Rafael did an excelente job and did not stop looking for spots until we were able to find a nice Red Snapper and a great sized rooster.

Captain Jose and mate Rafael were great. We didn’t find the roosterfish we had hoped for (not their fault, bad time of year for them) and were smart and quick to change plans and take us to the fish. Spent the last half of the trip catching rainbow tuna and a beautiful dorado (on light tackle). Overall, great day thanks to captain and crew!  Thank you
