I have wanted to try a fishing charter for a long time.  So for my 40th I decided that’s what I wanted to do!  My wife paid for the trip as a gift and the gift did not disappoint!  Me and the boys had a great afternoon with Capt. Shane and his first mate!  Such a great time that my face hurt most of the day from smiling and laughing!  Would absolutely recommend this charter to anyone and I am heavily considering making this a yearly event along with deer camp!  Definitely want to try duck... Shane was great.  He made the trip really enjoyable and special.  During the trip, which started off with the sun shining, we ran into isolated lightening and thunder storms while on the water.  Shane kept the the fishing going after about 15 minute pause as the lightening passed.  We ended up getting our limit in about 2 hours on the water.  The captain worked hard to get the lines out, help us id when a fish was on, and then cleaned them all when we got in.  I think my grandson is... We had a great day catching fish on the Bay.  My elderly father was excited to get back on the water after being sidelined for several years.  Shane’s boat had the perfect spot for Dad to sit and stay comfortable while he reeled in the fish.  We caught several fish immediately, and Shane worked hard to find us more when we hit a dry spell.  Dad was able to end the trip by pulling in a 30” walleye!  Thanks for the memories, we had a lot of fun!

We used Dietrich’s Sportfishing Charter to take our German exchange student fishing for the very first ever. Captain Shane was able to help Jesse catch his first fish in less than ideal conditions.
