Today my partner and me, spent the day out on the water with Jacob. Although we didn’t catch a lot of fish, Jacob was accommodating and made the effort to make sure we had a memorable experience. Thank you very much for your time Jacob, we had a blast. The mud crab was absolutely devine, thanks to an amazing local restaurant Ochre, who cooked and prepared it for us. Thank you, for the restaurant recommendation Ochre was superb. An absolutely memorable day, thank you.

Captain Cody looked after us like champion. The weather was good we tried a few spots and took back a feed. Decent rods and reels all up an enjoyable day.

Though we didn’t catch anything larger than 40cm, the catch of the day was certainly the experience Gone Fishing Cairns provided. Jacob was welcoming to our range of fishing experience and immensely knowledgeable about the area. We had a wonderful day on the water and would absolutely recommend to all.

We didn’t catch but we were warned this could be the case, so lucky to have such awesome and knowledgeable fishermen. There was a chance and we were going for it! Had the best team to do so! Thanks guys it was so great to learn and still had the best time!
