We were supposed to go out the day prior but received a message from our captain that the wave height was looking pretty big and if we were available we would probably have a better time out the following day. He said we could go but the waters would be rough. We had room in our schedule to make changes and I’m so glad we did. We couldn’t have had a better afternoon. The water was calm, it wasn’t too hot and we caught a bunch of fish! Captain Matt was friendly and working all the time to keep our lines baited so they could be in the water. He cleaned our fish for us and we came home with a bunch of fish for dinner for our family. We would absolutely recommend a charter with Captain Matt and Mow Fishing!

We opted for an offshore 6 hour trip. My wife and I arrived at the dock 10 minutes early and Captain Matt was ready to go. He went over the safety features and off we went. The boating was smooth and he almost immediately put us on fish. We had a first fish in the boat prior to 9am. We got several snapper, a mangrove snapper and a Spanish mackerel all of which Captain Matt cleaned for us. We also caught several grouper that were thrown back and season is closed. We had almost non stop action and as an added bonus saw Man O’ War jellyfish and a couple sea turtles. Even had a large barracuda follow one of our catches to the boat. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer day on the water which was highlighted by Captain Matt’s attention to detail, and plan to fish some of the wrecks in the area. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an action packed charter to consider Mow Fish Charters and Captain Matt. We would have left six stars if possible.

Capt. Matt was awesome.  A few weeks before our trip, I contacted Capt. Matt and asked lots of questions before booking the trip.  He was very nice and responsive.  When we got to the area, I booked the trip and Capt.Matt again was very responsive and the day of ever was the BEST!  He was on time, funny, made my kids feel comfortable and the family had a blast!  My kids asked him a lot of questions and he was very patient with them.  Overall we had an amazing time and caught lots of fish!  Will definitely book with him again next time.

In the words of my 11 year old “it was awesome, we caught a lot of fish, and it was the best part of our vacation”. Captain Matt was in touch with us from the moment we booked to casting time. We had to reschedule due to weather and Captain Matt was very mindful that there would be a child along. We would highly recommend for a memory maker on your vacation!
