Darrell the captain was great and new all the right spots to get numbers. We were hoping to catch some bigger fish but you will probably have to book a whole day trip to go further out for that. Had a great time. Boat was clean and well maintained. Will use Darrel again but for a whole day trip next time.

The Captain was more than I expected.  He knew exactly where to go to catch fish.  We caught more fish than I could have wished for my grandkids!  He kept our hooks baited, helped us reel in the big one’s - 24-28 pounders. Gave my grandkids fishing instructions and kept everyone busy catching fish!  My grandkids smiled and had the best time of their whole week at Grandma’s.  I’d recommend him for everyone…kept Grandma catching fish too!

On June 3 and 4, 2015, I took my family and friends on half day trips with Captain Darrell. Best two days of fishing I have ever had! He even dialed up seas of glass! Captain Darrell is a master with his knowledge of this area and made sure we were always on fish. This was the first time on an offshore boat for most of my family and everyone felt completely comfortable. I have fished many times growing up near San Diego and traveling to Florida. Every one of those trips pales in comparison to these two days. We caught fish, but as soon as we arrived, it was just like old friends heading out for a day on the water and the Catillac is simply an awesome boat. Darrell is the reason we had such an awesome experience. A year and half later, I only recommend Captain Darrell and would never think about fishing with anyone else.

Our family has fished with Hingle’s guide service many times over the last few years. We always have a great time. We have caught everything from tarpon to Spanish mackerel and many other species. He is a great captain and very professional. His boat is amazing and so is the equipment he uses. The ladies in our family love it also because he even has an actual private toilet on the boat. He can even fill you in on some of the history of the island since he is originally from there. We won’t fish with anybody else. Highly recommend him.

Captain was very knowledgeable.  We had an excellent trip.  Boat was very clean and the bathroom was convenient.  We would definitely book with Darrell again.
