Absolutely an excellent trip considering the 20 knot plus chilly winds working against us.  Captain Guion put us on fish despite the wind and a low passing through the area.  Getting out of the wind took some time away from lines in the water, but Red Fish and Bull Black Drum made for a very good trip. Adding the Captain’s gift of gab concerning all things local made for a very enjoyable 4 hour trip.

Capt. G was great we were waiting around due to thunderstorms and he was very flexible and made it happen! We caught some Spanish and ended up with some great fish tacos for dinner!

2nd time in Wilmington area! This time we travelled 4 hs with my son exclusively to go around fishing with Captain Guion again! He is super friendly and knows very well the area. We had to interrupt our session due an incoming storm. He did not hesitate to complete the remaining time at a later time. He was not satisfied until we were able to catch a couple of fishes for my son!!. The best fishing experience of our lives!!! Highly recommend this tour!

We took a two hour trip with a four year-old and had a great time doing some trolling nearshore and some bottom fishing inshore.  We caught a variety of fish and the four year-old had a blast. Not many captains offer a special trip tailored to fishing with small children so if you are looking for a short trip for the small people in your life, look no further.

My friend and I took a nearshore trip with Guion that couldn’t have been better. Guion is easy to get along with and he really knows what he is doing. We caught more fish than I could count in the span of a few hours. If you’re looking for a successful fishing trip, Guion is the man to call!
