We had planned for a four hour nearshore fishing excursion with Captain Josh for my husband, our two teenaged sons, and myself. Josh and Justin were amazing. They were knowledgeable not only about fishing but about the history of the area and surrounding towns. They were extraordinarily generous with their time and energy by going over time since we started catching fish we could actually take home in the last 45 minutes of our trip. Capt Josh and Jamie worked hard to put up in the fish but the north wind wouldn’t cooperate. After trying all inshore reefs Capt Josh tried going offshore but turned around due to safety concerns with the rough seas. Josh was honest and gave us the option to shorten the trip or continue doing what we had been doing unsuccessfully for four hours. We opted to cut it short and save time and money. Will definitely look to Play Hooky Too on our next visit!

We had a great experience with Captain Josh and first mate Jamie. They were very friendly and knowledgeable not only about fishing but also the surrounding area. We caught Spanish mackerel very quick into the trip. I also had my five year old son with me and they did a fantastic job letting him be involved and making the experience fun for him. I would strongly recommend these guys
