We had a fantastic day fishing and cannot say enough about Tony. The day started out at 45 degrees, so cold is an understatement. We knew it was going to be cold and had zero expectations on catching anything in those conditions. Tony stepped up and crushed it. We caught 20-30 fish and had a blast. He knows the waters like the back of his hand which was huge in those tough conditions. The boat and tackle were also great.

I read the reviews when making a choice and wanted to make sure Southern Sport Fishing Charters got another 5 star review as they deserve it. You will not be disappointed. We already made plans to come back in the summer for tarpon season.

I would recommend them. The captain Brandon kept us informed for our upcoming trip.  We booked like a less than a week from when we were planning on going. Very nice. This was our first time going and i loved it. Definitely plan on going again real soon.

We booked a 4hr trip kind of last minute, was not sure how it would be.  We were pleasantly surprised.  Captain Tony was great, knowledgeable and very attentive to our 9 year old, he let the kids steer the boat.  Everyone had fun, we caught some fish and made some great memories.

We had some unfavorable conditions with lots of flood water and a big moving tide. Aaron did his best to accommodate and mitigate by trying different depths and different locations. Even though we only caught a few fish, his effort and knowledge were A+. Would book again.

Captain Brandon was great, our trip was set to start at 7am. When we showed up at 6:45 he had the boat in the water and was ready to go so we took off. Every spot he took us on the day we got bites. We hooked some Redfish & Flounder and had plenty of dinner. He was knowledgeable of the area and was always focused on us and putting bait on hooks and things like that. I will be using him again next time I’m in St. Simons.
